The quarter began on March 29, just over two weeks after the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. Apple did not provide guidance for the quarter due to these uncertain times, but analysts expect the company to report revenue of $51.4B on average, down from a record $53.8B in the year-ago quarter.

The earnings results should be posted at 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time, followed by a conference call with Apple CEO Tim Cook and Apple CFO Luca Maestri at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time. MacRumors will provide live coverage of the call.

Wait... Doesn't Q3 end at the end of september? Didn't Q2 just start? I guess I'm uneducated, are fiscal quarters different from calendar quarters?

Yes fiscal quarters can and usually are different from calendar quarters. It can also be different in different countries (aka some start a fiscal year in July.)

Yeah, Tesla is truly nuts. Was $360 in mid March. Now $1700. I was considering buying some at $800, but that seemed really high.

They are one stoned tweet away from $800 again too!

That said and as much as they joked about it recently, I wouldn’t put it past Elon to tell some people to short Tesla, only to do them a stupid tweet later on and let them earn some easy money.
