That article was posted almost 2 months ago. Maybe in the October timeframe for the new MB/MBPs?

Well, I do like the look of it, another item to add to my can't buy list.

Couple of things:
1) whats with the keyboard in the bottom left inset
2) has apple perfected resolution independence yet? And is there a proper set of Frameworks set for full scale TouchUI?
3) what about basic pressure sensitivity for simple tasks too?

3. as far as i can tell, apple hates touch sensativity and opts for capacitive touch. Good call in my mind.

That device is just sick, in a good way. You fool with my heart as if it were a thing *sigh*.

If they release a device like this I hope the screen isn't smaller than 11" and that it has the horsepower to play blu-ray movies so when Apple announces blu-ray support we can view them, or at the very least be able to do it in windows.

The source did predict October at the latest, but they also mentioned PA Semi as making the chip which probably means it won't the horsepower of a full computer.

Apple please take the internals of the macbook air, slap a touch screen and sell it for 1999 and I will love you.
