I've been an iPad fan since day one. Since then, I've bought iPads from every generation and still own all of them. I recently bought my eleventh iPad and got a message from Apple saying that I can't sync to it because too many iPads are registered to my account. So I assume the maximum allowed is ten iPads to any account.

It's asked me to unlink one of the first ten from my account if I want to be able to sync the 11th one. How do I even do that?

I have literally hundreds on one account. This is Apple being silly.

Someone on MR told me Apple doesn't limit the number of iDevices on one account but they do have a total of 5 computer limit on the same account.

5 authorised computers on one account.

10 authorised devices for iTunes match and automatic updates.

Assuming you bought the following;
iPad
iPad 2
iPad with Retina display (3)
The New iPad with Retina display (4)
The iPad Air (5)
Mini iPad (6)
Mini iPad with retina display (7)
How did one of each turn into 11? Why could you possibly need all of those activated and in use? I thought we were bad with an iPad 2, 4 and iPad Air all in one house.

Yep, she may be a pain in the the you know what but I'm still taking her out to Mickey D's for valentines day. I go all out to keep her happy.:D

No wonder she is worried about how many "<name any apple products>" you might have. Go for the big bucks swing for Subway

Forgive me for pointing this out, but you're over thinking this. I hardly think he needs to itemize his inventory of iPads to clarify his conundrum, which at this point it would appear has been clarified.
