I have been using my Apple Trackpad since getting my Mac Studio some six months ago. Obviously, it connects via Bluetooth, and it works absolutely fine...

Lately, though, it has started to take quite a while for it to connect when I just boot up my Mac Studio. It is simply not responsive at the initial password entry screen (I am using Ventura 13.1), and it can easily take 30-40 seconds before the pointer starts moving around, and I can click on my UserID and log in.

This is definitely a recent issue, as I remember that in the beginning, I was trying to time how long it took to boot up (when I was having problems with BitDefender and Ventura), and "no mouse" was not a concern...

Is this a "me" issue, or does anyone else have this problem as well?

Probably Bluetooth issue. Is it quicker via USB (via charging cable to USB port on Mac)?

Generally I find trackpad slower to connect than keyboard (but not like you describe). I mostly use keyboard at login.
