I am looking to trade-in my 2017 15 inch MBP for the new M1 Max 16-inch MBP. However, certain keys on my MBP stick and a couple of them came loose and I have covered them with scotch tape to prevent them from popping out. Since Apple has a program to fix my keyboard for free, can I still use it to trade-in for a new MBP? Or will I need to get my keyboard fixed before I can trade it in?
