Purchased a new Iphone 12 pro max on December 7th, and Apple shipped a trade in kit i recieved on December 10th, which I immediately sent my Iphone 11 pro max to Apples partner via Fedex, which Fedex indicates was delivered to a location in Pennsyvania on December 15.

A couple of days later, Apples tracking site indicated the partner had recieved the trade in phone (worth $500), and in three days I would recieve a notification of the results of the inspection.

Well, a couple more days, and the Apple tracking site is changed, and now says the phone is "on the way to the partner". (which is not true since they have already recieved it). So I decide to give it a couple of days to see if it resolves itself, and it doesnt, so I call apple on December 21st. First call I made, Apple customer service connects me with whoever they partner with, and I spoke to the represenative, who said she would put me on hold while it was checked, but instead sent me back to Apple, and this time talk to someone else at
Apple who links me up with someone else in Apple, and says its on the way to the partner.

Round and round we go.

No change today on website. Other than calling Apple back again, any suggestions on next step, or anyone else have any experiences?

Who is this partner? Anyway to contact them directly?

Thanks

mine took forever to complete too. maybe they're just backed up. If you go to their website, it says usually takes 2-3 weeks for the whole process.

I sent my excellent condition iPhone 7 in- instead of getting $100, they said we'll,give you nothing for it, saying there was a button or switch missing (there wasn't!) Sent it to another place and got $93 for it.
I want to exchange my mac mini for an M-1, but not at all confident they'll honor their quote.
