Watched a CNET YouTube video and she very briefly mentioned that the Apple Watch Translate app will be coming to the Apple Watch. I don’t have the beta installed but can anyone confirm this or is it not in the first beta or is just done through Siri dictation? She mentioned something about being able to have translated conversations on the fly from the watch. Any info would be appreciated.

The Translate app insn’t in watchOS 7 beta 1. However, you can ask Siri to give you equivalent words in other languages and it will do it. I can‘t say if the Siri part is new or was available in 6.

Ok thank you for the reply. She def mentioned that you’ll be able to have translated conversations but that doesn’t seem logical having to ask Siri to translate every time before someone speaks. iTranslate Converse does this very well but would prefer a native baked in solution without a subscription. Maybe a future beta will include it. Pretty sure one of the prominent YouTubers (AI maybe) said that translations on the watch with Siri is new on OS7
