Apple TV 1 no open elec any more ?

I still have a nice little 160 Gigster I want to use as a Movie and Music box.

But I can't find an image of open elec any more, I know it is discontinued but I'd like to use the little box.

Can someone help ?

Perhaps Installing OS X Tiger and using Frontrow would come close?

Tiger with 256MB Ram ?!

Tried OSMC, didnt got it booting - seems to be stopped also.

I had open elec with xbmc on an Apple TV box a while ago and it was very performant. But I dont kept the image. Never imagined it would be dropped.

That thing runs on castrated os x from factory anyway.

Try OSMC

tried it a 2nd time, this time the HDD method and now it runs.

for those 1st timers and the archive: if the gui overscans set settings mode to expert and adjust overscan.
