Ive been a massive fan of Apple TV and have had one for the last 3 odd years now, in fact I have 3 now including the new one that I picked up at the weekend.

I used to live in Hong Kong and got to benefit from the very fast internet speeds there and when I came to Oz I found internet speeds lacking to say the least, which brings me to my issue with Apples latest wonder..

With the original Apple TV I could cope with having to wait hours to download TV shows or movies, but when I went to rent a movie yesterday it said that it would take 3 hours to download, when I went back to check it (3 hours later) it was ready but on trying to play it then reverted back to 2 hours.. Is this due to the streaming nature of movies and no local storage capacity on the Apple TV itself?

The only other gripe I have is that streaming over my network for some inexplicable reason seems slower than it did before with the old Apple TV's.. anyone else experience this?
