I tough you couldn't use the Apple TV 2 to share the contents of two different iTunes libraries / computers.

But as it turned out, you can!

You only have to use the same Apple ID in every iTunes you have, but only with the Home Sharing side of iTunes! So every computer can use its own Apple ID to make their own purchases and use a common Apple ID only for sharing!

I hope this helps someone that didn't know how to share different computers with their Apple TV 2

Yup DJ, I've got 3 systems sharing their iTunes content and they are all using the same Apple ID. Works great. Thanks for the post, I'm sure there's someone who will need to know how to do this. Lets just hope they know how to search for the answer. :)
