Hi All,

I have converted a number of BD disks with Make MKV and then passed the trough IVI i haven't compressed the video at all. My iTunes library is store on a raid 0 thunderbolt wd hard disk connected to my 2012 iMac. The iMac is connected to my AC time capsule via Cat 6 cable and the apple tv connects via wifi but is only 4ft away. All was going well but all of a sudden the playback is really jerky and also the video freezes while the audio keeps going.

does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this ?

I have tried streaming one of the blu rays on my mac book via home sharing and the playback is perfect so looks like the issue is with the apple tv

The same issue is covered by this thread. It's a problem that cropped up in Apple TV update 6.1.

Try changing the video settings from auto to 1080 with 50Hz. If this doesn't help then as suggested by someone else try 720 which should definitely solve the problem until Apple fixes this on their end.
