How is everyone's Apple TV 4K preorder?
I ordered the 64gig and recieved email confirmation at 3:04am EST. My order is still in the Order in Progess stage.
I ordered an Apple Watch S3 at the same time and it's already preparing to ship.

My S3 watch is also preparing to ship, while the 4K ATV 32gb is still processing. Im not worried Apple is very good about under promising, and overdelivering. Luckily both the watch and ATV are just under mainstream appeal enough that I don't think they will be sold out.

I'm thinking our watches shipped because they're coming from China and our TVs are probably sitting stateside. Probably Mount Juliet TN.

Ordered it on 09/15 just after 12:01 AM for a 32GB model.
The status has now changed from "Order Placed" to "Order In Progress".

I hope the unit is shipped out before 09/22.

My status changed from "Order In Progress" to "Preparing For Shipment".

I am guessing I should be receiving the unit earlier than the scheduled time frame.

Hmm. I ordered 2 at 12am PST and got my confirmation email at 12:48am. Still saying
Order In Progress Delivers 29 Sep, 2017 - 03 Oct, 2017

I was not expecting the Apple 4K TV to be in such high demand. I guess a lot of people were waiting for 4K compatibility.

The status on My UPS Choice is the shipment from China has now reached Louisville, KY.

The status on Apple is that the item is still "Preparing For Shipment".
Here's to hoping that the item gets delivered before 22nd.

I tried to order on 9/15 at 8am and couldn't get the 64GB from Apple. I ordered it from Best Buy though and it said delivers by 9/22.

Anyone else order it from Best Buy? As of this morning, mine still says "order received" and "preordered" for status. It says "get it by Friday Sept 22". Doesn't show preparing or shipped or anything.

Same here. I easily got the 4th gen one on launch day. At 8am on 9/15 I was unable to get the 4K version. I think aside from the hardware upgrade, everyone wants this because of the cheap price for 4K movies and the free upgrades to 4K movies.

I'm pretty irritated. I ordered them the instant they went up and mine haven't shipped, though they claim to be arriving the 22nd.

I need them here so I can confirm that DV doesn't work with my OLED, then back they go! (so no, not a really hurry)

I ordered from Best Buy and received my shipping info earlier today with a Friday delivery.

Mine still says preparing to ship. But still says it will Arrive Friday. So either they are overnighting it. Or it has shipped and they are taking their sweet time updating their site.

It most certainly supports Dolby Vision. Atmos is what it doesn't support.

Also no 4K in YouTube. Form what I gather, both could be available in a software update. Looks like my Shield will still my main streamer, but the Apple TV will be great for my existing library of 200 movies and cheaper 4K movies that I don't care about Atmos.

If it only outputs at 60Hz and my 2016 LG OLED can't process DV at 60HZ then for me it goes back. That is the point. It is crazy that we are buying a $200 streaming box that cannot output 24Hz.

Yeah I guess we'll see. I might be right with you on that. My Shield does everything great and has 4K YouTube, which I watch a lot plus Atmos right now. I'll give my Apple TV a run for the weekend and then return it Monday if it doesn't seem worth it.

Check my post in the 24Hz thread. I got my ATV4k today and it shows Video Output of 60, 50, 30, 25 and 24Hz.

Just read it. That's great if it all works out.

So my 2 boxes shipped straight from China separately, for delivery tomorrow.
