I am looking for a travel case for the apple tv to put in my carry on/laptop bag while traveling. I have been looking at camera cases, gps cases, and portable HD cases and I cant find one thats just right. Ideally, I want something thats not to big and thick while providing moderate protection to the apple tv, and if it can hold the power cable and an hdmi cable thats a plus. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I carry mine in my checked bag but I use a ZipLoc bag. I have had my remote in a case from day one for its protection. Since I have the luxury of checked luggage, I also carry a spare power cable and spare remote ($79. thanks Apple!) in my checked luggage....

Of all the Apple products I'm familiar with, the Apple TV is perhaps the most immune to damage from travel and handling. It is basically a solid brick without any fragile parts exposed. Just pack it with your underwear and it should be fine. The cables are also quite rugged.
