Was wondering if anyone else is having this issue or has noticed it? It seems that with all the apps you can do searches in, they all show the search field/keyboard at the top of the screen with the media/results below it but for some reason, when I use the native search app that comes with TVOS 11, my keyboard and search field is on the left and the media/results are on the right and I can't figure out why.
I just bought my unit last month and had it replaced at the Apple store because of this, they thought it was defective (tested it at their store and it did same thing there too), brought second unit home and that one does the same thing as well, I've even opened up a support ticket with senior tech agent trying to figure out if this is some bug or something.
See pic and compare to your native search app if you will, do a few reboots if you need to and see if the layout changes. I've also tried using about 5 different HDMI cables, from Amazon basics to Monster to the new 48GBPS cable from Belkin...does it no matter what cable I use.
