Has anyone ever had their wifi and/or bluetooth chip go bad in an Apple TV 4th gen? One day over a week ago my Apple TV could not connect to the internet, yet all other devices in my house were working just fine. So I restarted my Apple TV. Nothing. I went to reconnect my wifi, but when I would go into the network settings on the Apple TV as soon as I would select "connect to a network" it would just go back to the home screen. This would happen no matter how many times I restarted the Apple TV.
Today I got my USB-C cable so I attempted to restore the Apple TV in iTunes. I restored it to the latest software 11.2.1. Now when I go to set up the Apple TV, I am not able to pair the Siri remote. When I hold the "menu and plus" buttons for 5 seconds nothing happens. I am able to connect my Siri remote to my iMac successfully, so I know its not the remote.
I'm starting to think that something has happened to my wifi and/or bluetooth chip going bad. I also tried to downgrade to tvOS 10.2.2 with no success.
[doublepost=1515470948][/doublepost]I was able to downgrade to 10.2.2 and pair my Siri remote. So the bluetooth seems to be working. However, when I go to set up the Apple TV, when it says "setting up wifi" it errors out. See the screenshots below.
