Apple TV activation codes

Hi Guys, is there any way to use one activation code for access to local channels ??
IE:ABC NBC ABC FOXNEWS HISTORY CHANNEL ANIMAL PLANET Etc. It's a real pain
to always have to enter an activation code. and why does apple TV not save the
activation code once entered. Any solutions ??
