Apple TV and audio podcast resume play

Does Apple TV support resuming where you left off playing on audio podcasts?

I've tried syncing some to my Apple TV and after playing some other media the audio podcast starts from the beginning. The check box in iTunes for the file is set to allowing resume and it works fine in iTunes on the Mac that the Apple TV is syncing to.

If this isn't supported, any suggestions on how to configure the file to support resuming on Apple TV?

My Apple TV is running 3.0.2.
