Apple TV and Itunes Store

When I try to access the itunes store through certain areas of my apple tv it says "itunes store unavailable, try again later". I can access it by viewing trailers and the search function in movies, but if I try to search by genre or hd it gives me that error message. Any ideas?

Mine was doing that to, actually, until I (finally) tried to update to 2.3. Instead of going to settings // general // update software, I went to settings // downloads. It asked me for my iTunes password, so i typed it in. Then updated to 2.3, it rebooted, and voila - I now have movies!

Not sure if that's your situation too, but it's worth a shot. Keep me posted.
