Apple TV and movie box help!!

I have an iPod 5 and a Sony smart TV. I use moviebox on my jailbroken ipod
IM thinking of buying Apple tv but have read so many diffrent answers can someone confirm if I can stream movie box films to new Apple tv?
Does it work easily to stream my movie box movies through Apple tv?

Im able to stream to the ATV from my IPad mini & Iphone 5s
Using this built 3 of Moviebox
But the subtitle will not be shown on the TV
