Is there any app for the apple TV that woulld use my apple watch as a sensor and then display my heart rate on the screen if I'm watching something else? I'd like to be able to watch TV while I exercise and be able to monitor my heart rate without constantly looking down at my watch. I use the Zwift app and its great to be instantly alerted when my heart rate spikes, but I have to be in the Zwift app for that to work and I can't watch anything on tv then. I'm recovering from cardio ablation and I don't want to overdo it.
Also, Why does apple hide apps that are available on other devices than what you are currently using? I'm at work on a mac and want to search apps for apple tv but all that I can see on the app store are mac apps, or iphone apps on my phone. If I go to apple's web site I can't find a list of apps for the apple tv. For a tech company apple's web presence is remarkably inept outside of sales and marketing.

Because you can't download Apple TV apps on Macs or iOS, nor can you download iOS apps on Apple TV or Macs, nor can you download Mac apps on Apple TV or iOS.

Not every app is available on all platforms, showing them all in one unified store would confuse the hell out of many people.

Yeah but I could filter by platform and research what is available without having the device in front of me.

I'm sure you could. Apple doesn't design most of their software for people aware enough to frequent sites like we're on right now.
