I’ve noticed a change to how iOS 16 will control the AppleTV. I’m wondering if it’s on purpose or a bug.
When I’m playing media via the AppleTV it shows on the Lock Screen, perfect, it shows in control Center, perfect. However, it used to show in the music app and allow scrubbing, volume control. Etc. it now just shows that AppleTV is playing instead of mirroring what’s in control centre. Also, when I click control centre instead of bringing me into media controls via the music app it will bring me to the iPhone version of the app which I’m using on the AppleTV.
