Apple TV compatible with TiVO?

I currently have a Tivo and am happy with it. I got a new Apple TV for Christmas and wasn't sure if I could hook them up to the same TV. Does anyone know if these two items are compatible?

You attach them to the same TV using different inputs. They don't work with each other, if that's what you mean.
