My Apple TV (model A2843, a few years old) is occasionally losing our wifi signal.
It's not happening to any other devices on network.
No recent changes to router settings.
Occurs in different apps (PBS Kids Video, Tablo).
I restarted Apple TV, forgot and re-added network but neither fixed it.
Is my wifi in Apple TV device going bad?

Haven't added any new components near ATV. ATV is in the same place it's always been.

Is it a mesh router?

Yes. Eero 6+.
I believe there is a bug in the ATV OS that has trouble with Mesh routers. Will switch back and forth between 2.4 and 5 gh bands. This then causes loss of internet long enough to pause the video or degrade the quality. If you can ethernet or force the router to keep ATV on 2.4 or 5 that should help. ATV seems to be the only Apple device that happens to.

Interesting. Hadn't thought of that. I will see if I can 'lock it down' to either 2.4 or 5.

Haven't experienced this bug on my tv 4K, but it sounds like what occasionally happens to my HomePod (home Wi-Fi provided by Netgear Orbi mesh network).
