Apple TV Family Sharing

Can anyone confirm if Family Sharing works on Apple TV? I've purchased an Apple TV for my father who is on my Family Sharing and can access all my movies etc on his iPhone & iPad when he logs in using his own Apple ID. I was wondering will this be the same if he uses his own Apple ID on his Apple TV I'd like him to have access to all my purchased Movies & TV Shows if possible or do I have to log in using my Apple ID?

Yes. Login under iTunes Store with his Apple ID. Then in the Movies App under Purchases select Family Sharing and then your ICON. You can actually test this on your own Apple TV if you have his password (which is how I test it).
