Have a newer apple tv and updated software. Over the last couple of months using apple tv in main home theater without issues. Yesterday we purchased a DLP Tv for our bedroom and wanted to try apple tv in that location.

Nothing but problems and trying to figure out issues. Using HDMI cable with first HDMI port on TV. HDMI cable approx 5-6 feet long which is overkill for this location. Streaming Movie from Apple site taking forever (assuming internet) but at times picture sparatic and getting green screen. Could it all be to the internet connection?? The movie will also stop taking 5-10 more minutes to start playing again. Sound even goes at times. Frustrating when working in theater room. TV Samsung 65 inch in bedroom.

Download and test with an HD podcast. Try on the ATV2 first then download it via iTunes and see if you can stream it flawlessly to the ATV2. An HD podcast like Diggnation might be worth a try. What model is the Samsung? I didn't know they still made DLPs.
