So my entire music and movie library vanished tried reset on and off no joy. Had it do a full factory reset anybody else had this issue? Means I had to download every app and sign into every app is there no easier solution in future?

The only thing I can think of is it somehow logged out of your Apple Account therefore not showing your music & movie library. Strange.

There is a way to keep your apps etc when you reset:

Settings > Users and Accounts > select your user > turn on One Home Screen

Then when you reset or set up a new Apple TV, As soon as you sign into your Apple Account during set up it will download all your apps again in the same position on the home screen as they were previously. You will have to log into them all again though.

Another issue my music icons won’t load album art work now? Switch accounts works fine. Works fine on other Apple box why am I having so many issues? Again a restart does nothing to fix it I have the latest Apple TV model

Have you given it enough time to load up all of your album artwork? That can take a while if you have a big collection. Stored locally or drawing all of this from the cloud? You may want to be patient and see if it shows up with enough time to get downloaded to the reset box.

If it's all local, did you confirm Home Sharing is turned on and the settings are correct? Mac in charge of media is on and not crashed? One of the apps- music or TV- is open? The network connection between Mac to router to AppleTV is all solid and functional? Rebooted any of that to be sure nothing has clogged the pipe?
