Here's my configuration...

I have a 1TB My Book External drive connected to an Airport Extreme 802.11n wireless router via USB. I have iTunes installed on a MacBook Pro running OSX 10.5.6 with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. This MacBook is connected wirelessly to the Airport Extreme. I have AppleTV connecting wirelessly to my MacBook running iTunes.

Here's my problem...

Every now and then my movie will play for few minutes then stop playing and I'll get the black-screen-of-death whereby AppleTV is saying "Apple TV can't find any movies". I try to go back to the movie list where it shows all my movies and sometimes it will show the list and at other times it won't; instead it shows the same error msg again.

I'll then go to look at movies at the Apple Store and it says "Accessing iTunes Store" and then it shows me all the movies, so I know the internet connection is working. I don't play any of them.

I then go back to my movies and it will show me the list of movies with the last movie I played highlighted. Again, I select it. It will ask if I want to resume where it left off or start over. I select resume. It will play for about 20 - 30 seconds and then it will go black again telling me AppleTV can't find any movies to play.

This is obviously very Frustrating. Anyone have any advice as to what this could be related to? I've tried changing my channel on which my Extreme is communicating. It is set to channel 3. Any other ideas?
