Had the weirdest thing happen last night. I still cannot fathom how it happened.
I was watching a show on my apple TV through Amazon prime. I selected the show via remote not air play.
A few minutes into the show I start to notice a echo, and realize that sound is not coming from rear channels of my receiver. Thinking nothing of it I watch for a while then get up.to go to the fridge. In my kitchen my Sonos one is playing the audio from the TV.
I really have no idea how this is even possible. Looking at the Sonos app (on my Android phone) sure enough it is somehow air playing the audio while simultaneously playing the front 3 channels in my living room.
Change to HBO go on apple TV same thing, turn off airplay in ATV settings, and it is still playing.
Only after hard resetting both the Sonos, and the ATV does it finally stop.
Any clue how this is possible? I use Android, and the only iOS devices in the house are my 2 iPads both powered off in the other room.
Freaked me out
