The power on/off button on my Siri remote is depressed below the surface of the remote and I can’t get to to pop up. It looks like disassembling the remote is a 19 step process. Any other tricks to fixing this?

Don't know if this workaround will help, but after reading reports of this issue with the remote power button, I proactively stopped using the button, using the home button to turn it on, and a long press on the home button to bring up the onscreen menu to power down.

I would try 99% isopropyl alcohol flooded around it. It's safe for electronics to the point that you can use it to clean flux off a PCB
You've probably got muck under it. Sticky fingers I'm afraid- we've done it too.
That's your best bet
