Pretty much I just noticed on some DVD's it will take a 720x480 source and make its somewhere around 830x350 with a anamorphic loose. Whys that? I just did couples retreat and I changed it to encode the same size as the source why would I want it to shrink and stretch?

Did you get Couples Retreat to play on your 
TV.
I have encoded that thing 9 ways to Sunday and it will not show up in theTV menu ( I stream).
This is the same problem I had with Terminator Salvation. Whatever preset I used it would never show up inTV. I could push it to iTunes and play back fine there but that was it.
