Apologies if this thread already exists at MacRumours...
I've been arguing with my Apple TV for about two days now, searching online for a definitive resolution to the issue of being unable to sync my purchased movies from Apple TV back to my MacBook.
I have a few movies on there which I really want to get off ASAP as I've sold it (hopefully with good reason if the 1st Sept event releases a new one).
To resolve the problem, iTunes has been rebooted, Apple TV has been rebooted, I've stopped syncing on the Apple TV and re-paired the two devices. On re-pairing, I noted that all my music was wiped from the Apple TV and it started to sync over 9500 items, but the videos on my Apple TV were not deleted and nor were they re-synced.
This issue is driving me slightly crazy and seems to be an issue for a number of users. In most cases on other forums there isn't a recorded fix that seems to work...
