Apple TV Remote Help

I love my Apple TV 4 but I've moved it from TV to TV. I reconnected it to my TV (where it's now going to stay) and it was being buggy. No biggie. Reset everything. Everything works now but for some reason, I can't use the remote to turn off my TV anymore (it used to do it on this TV and the box is greyed out). Help!!

try replugging both ends of the hdmi cable, or swapping to a new cable. for some reason the aTV isn't able to get you TV model over the cable.

and you've done a hard reset? (pulling the electric plug for 10 seconds) on both the tv and aTV

Some TV's require you to activate HDMI-CEC, so check your manual.
