Apple TV Set up Help

Just got an Apple TV
When i went onto settings and then on to computers and set up the Apple TV to my Mac on itunes it only shows that i can sync photos and i don't know how to put movies onto the hard drive.
I Really don't want to put it onto my Itunes because i have 102.gb of movies in my Movies folder and i like it there

Apple TV Set up Help

You do have to put the movies in iTunes. However, before you do that, make sure to go into the preferences and uncheck the box that says Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library. Your movies can stay in the folder where they currently reside. You can then add movies to the Apple TV and sync.

It sounds like you have it set-up on the shared library setting if you can only see the photo syncing option. You want to unlink it and select the top option.
