Apple TV Siri Remote 2nd Gen Not Working

Has anyone run into this before? My remote the newest version the center click doesn't work. When I click select on the screen with the apps instead of selecting the app, it will just move to the left to the app icon to the left of the one I want to open. I did do a reset on the Apple TV but that didn't help. I had to actually use my old Apple TV 3 remote so I could get through setup. I'm guessing I just have a faulty remote but didn't know if anyone else has run into this issue.

No I have not. Get a new remote.
