Apple TV Stays in Dolby Vision for Certain Apps

What is the appropriate setting for video format? I used to keep it in 4K Dolby Vision and everything has been great.

I noticed some Apps (like Netflix) will play some content in HDR and other content in SDR…so it matches the Content Range.

Other Apps (like Disney+) will keep everything in HDR. It won’t switch to SDR.

Can anyone else set their Apple TV to 4K Dolby Vision and play Bluey (or something in SDR) on Disney+ and let me know if their TV stays in HDR mode? 🤔

Can confirm it definitely stays in dolby vision unless you check the option to match the dynamic range. Checked with bluey on disney+ and it does go to SDR when you have the option checked.

Just set to 4KSDR and let dynamic range matching take care of when Dolby Vision or HDR is needed.
