apple tv synching

hello, i have several seasons of a TV series, is it possible to sync only one season of that series without using a playlists? i want to be able to choose what season to sync in itunes not all season.

I guess one thing you can do is make sure your AppleTV only syncs "checked songs/video" then just uncheck the series you don't want to have transferred..
