Apple TV, taking it home?

Hi, im currently living in Australia and want to buy the new Apple TV, if i did it would save me a £40 which is not bad ammount. Would it work the same as if i bought a UK one?

Going back to UK in 3 months but would buy out here if cheaper and works the same.

The hardware is the same, you may need to change settings in the software or restore it. You may also need to buy an adapter for the power cable, or just a replacement cable.
