apple tv & wireless network & bose (lifestyle 48)

hello. can someone help me with this set-up. I am fine regarding the cables, etc but i do not understand the wireless network conf. I understand the apple tv requires 802.11g or 802.11n for video streaming ... but how does that
work into the existing wireless network.

the client informed me that he wants to access the apple tv via wireless network and i will hard wire the apple tv to the bose and home tv.

i keep reading numerous posts regarding the apple tv dropping off from i-tunes .. anything special i have to do to make sure the apple tv is up and working with no glitches.

I've had no issues if:

Everything is wireless
Everything is wired

I encounter problems when I have the apple tv wired to my router and have the laptop connecting wirelessly - haven't been able to get to the bottom of the problem with this perhaps it's my router - just don't know. Happy to go all wireless at the moment
