Apple TV

Hey guys, I am new to this community but I have a question.

I have been reading a lot about the Apple TV recently and I am interested but I am wondering if this is the right time to buy an Apple TV, or are we expecting a new one soon?

I am just curious because WWDC just happened and I haven't payed too close attention to it besides looking at the new updates to iOS 6 and seeing the new retina macbook.

Any tips would be appreciated

I would be very surprised if we saw another Apple TV any time soon given the irregular release schedule Apple has seemingly adopted.

Personally, I would expect the long rumored Apple TV before the Apple TV 4 (or what have you).

IMO, now is as good a time as any to buy an Apple TV.

I would say the next version is also unlikely to come very soon, since the current version was just released alongside the new iPad launch, so even if they do start following a roughly yearly cycle you would only be mid-cycle right now.
