Apple today released a new 4B65 firmware update for the Beats Fit Pro headphones that came out in November, updating the earbuds from the prior 4B58 firmware that was available at launch.

Apple does not offer information on what's included in refreshed firmware updates for the Beats Fit Pro, so we don't know what improvements or bug fixes the new firmware brings.

There's no standard way to upgrade the ‌Beats‌‌ software, but firmware is generally installed over-the-air while the earbuds are connected to an iOS device. Putting the Beats Fit Pro‌‌‌‌‌ in the case, connecting them to a power source, and then pairing them‌‌‌‌‌ to an iPhone or an iPad should force the update after a short period of time.

Beats Fit Pro are Apple's newest Beats earbuds, featuring flexible wingtips to keep them in the ear, a charging case, silicone tips, Active Noise Cancellation, spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, and an H1 chip for "Hey Siri" support.

If we find notable changes after the firmware updates are installed, we'll share details, but the software likely includes performance improvements and bug fixes.

When listening to media and I press pause on one side sometimes it pauses that but then the other side pausing is delayed ever so slightly. Hopefully the update fixes that. Haven't noticed any other software issues really. Hardware wise they fit perfectly the first week, but then after that started falling out more. I imagine the tips become more flexible and less rigid so have less of a strong hold, especially for someone like me wearing them a lot of each day.

it’s good they are getting firmware

Alas these seem to only be available in the US
no sign of them for sale in uk

If I were to get a new pair of earphones my first choice would be the Powebeats Pro, the Beats Fit Pro or the Beats Studio Buds, their industrial design is far superior to any the unappealing white AirPods, but the way that Apple treats the Beats brand as second class is just disappointing. I'm enrolled on Apple's hearing study and the only valid hearing devices accepted are any AirPods or the wired EarPods, not a single Beats earphone or headphone can be used.

Yup, they just broke my Fit pros. As of last night my Iphone 12 reports “Not your Beats Fit Pro”, tries to pair - with the pairing lasting about 10 seconds, before another pairing request shows up. It sucks that there is nowhere to check firmware status or the option to deny an update.
They are replacing them, but I had to pay almost 300 bucks before they would even think about it.

Love my Beats Fit Pro. PowerBeats Pro have been my buds of choice the last couple years. Don't like AirPods, because they don't stay in my ears. Fit Pros stay in my ears, and have the newer features the PowerBeats Pro didn't.
Exactly my experience; very happy with them.

That's basically my review in a nutshell. :) I would add, I like the Beats Fit Pro look better than Airpods/Airpods Pro (I got grey).

Couple years? PowerBeats Pro came out last year, but yeah they’re excellent for workouts. The reviews for the new Beats Fit Pro are night and day though - almost wish I waited an extra year with my Plantronics before getting the PowerBeats Pro.

It's actually been 2 1/2 years since they came out. Yeah, time is kind of a blur these days...

Really wish I liked them better. The case is too big and feels extremely flimsy and cheap; the buds themselves are uncomfortable for me (ymmv, of course); and there is really no way to adjust them at all without accidentally triggering the giant button. The lack of wireless charging would be forgivable if the overall experience were better, but sadly, for me, it's not. Switched back to my slowly dying Airpods Pro after messing with the Beats for about a week.

Has anyone received the new firmware recently?
I haven’t. Just wondering if Apple pull the update.
I have the APP and have experiences with updates.

Be glad. It broke mine

After the update, the left earbud no longer works during phone calls. Music/Movies/anything else is fine. Really annoying to just have one not work all of a sudden thanks to a firmware update that we don't even know details about.
