Apple Upgrade Program - No Biz accounts??

I was at the Apple store and wanted to get the 24mo upgrade program. My ATT account is on a biz account. So I started they mentioned to me that because I have a ATT biz account I cannot utilize the Apple Upgrade program?

I don't think this is true since the Apple upgrade program is going through Apple not ATT. Dose anyone know of this being true or was I given wrong info?

Just to confirm, I don't mind doing the Apple Upgrade on my personal credit, it's just the phone account with ATT is under business. How would that matter?

Just left Apple. If you are on a business/corporate account no upgrade program. I am on a corporate account and no dice.
