Apple Upgrade Program - Unlocked??

Hi all,

I've pre-ordered a Verizon iPhone 7 through Apple's upgrade program. Wife is on Verizon but I am on T-Mobile and plan on using the phone with T-Mobile for at least another 6 months before I possibly move over to Verizon.

Am I going to have any issues using it on T-Mobile (and subsequently switching it to Verizon a few months later)?

I already have a Verizon sim pulled from an active iPhone 5s. And I have a T-Mobile Sim from an active iPhone 6s.
