I am currently on the ATT NEXT plan and my phone is now upgrade edigible. However I was wondering if I went ahead and paid off the phone completely and decided to do the apple upgrade program could I trade the paid off phone in to Apple to get a credit towards the Iphone 6s. I know I could sell it through ebay if I pay it off but I don't want go through that.

What is your current phone? Apple does have a trade-in program for iPhones and other smartphones, and you could use that credit towards the iPhone Upgrade Program, but you're likely going to get significantly less than your device is worth selling it yourself.
