Hi, I have a 2019 MBP 15" 2.6GHz i7 with the 560X Radeon, 1Tb with 16GB of Ram. After dropping the computer off for a screen replacement, the logic board failed and required a replacement. Given my computer to be special ordered, the logic board was back ordered.

I somehow received a 2.6 i7 with the 560X Radeon, with 32GB of ram, and 4TB of storage? I'm guessing because the 2019 15' MBP was produced for such a short time before the 16" was released that this was all they had left? That matched me specifications of my computer?

Anyone have this happen to them?

Apple has done this before for me. Not personally but for one of the companies I use to work for. They most likely had this board in stock and would rather give you a free upgrade rather than make you wait longer, especially since you didnt go in for the logic board and it just happened to fail while they had your computer.

This is where Apple's Customer Service shines.
