So I’m posting this as just some observations I’ve made recently as a 15 Pro owner and the new (to iPhone) USB-C port.
The USB-C to 3.5mm adapter is not only louder than the lightning version (yes both are the US versions, so don’t bring that up) but also the iPhone remembers each individual adapter separately. This is awesome because I have 4 of these adapters and I have them plugged into 4 different pairs of headphones all with different power requirements. What this means is when I plug in my sensitive IEMs, the volume will stay where I last left it.
This is especially appreciated since sometimes I wear big over ear headphones that need to be turned up more to get the desired volume out of them, but then plugging in my IEMs after, I would usually have to make sure I turn the volume way down or I’d get blasted in the ears, but now that it remembers the volume of each adapter, I no longer have to worry.
