has anyone seen the Apple USB dialup modem on the Apple store? I wonder if you can buy it on it own.?

I think you can, probably somewhere on the Apple Store or on some site. If they don't sell it, you could always get one on eBay.

I was thinking of the USB Modem thats optional with the new iMac.

There is less use for them now that there was before.
If any one needs it, then they can always buy USB one.

Apple does sell them separately for $49 at the Apple Store Online. I would be almost 100% positive that it would work with any USB Mac (unless the iMac is using 10.4.3, in which case you would need to wait for 10.4.3 SU from Apple).

10.4.3??????????????????????????????
Where have i been is it out? My mac's in house i cant check!!!

Interesting...... I couldn't find them on the UK Apple store.

I think it is just an iMac accessory for now. Once the new iMacs are shipping in volume they might open it up for general sale. Or perhaps they are waiting for 10.4.3 to be released... Hard to say at this point.
