Apple USB Superdrive - where have you placed yours?

Afternoon all,

When I purchased my 27" iMac last October, I ordered it with a USB Superdrive. I currently have mine on the pedestal under the mac. Where have you placed yours?

When I use it a lot, it goes on top of my Mac Mini (2011). When I'm not using it, I put it in my top desk drawer. I still wish it was built in. I think Apple ditched the optical drive a couple years too soon.

I picked up my first iMac in 2012. But forgot to add the SuperDrive to my basket.
Anyway I never needed one so never ordered one. I did get one for free from work a few months ago. I burnt a CD for when I can't be bothered to connect my phone.
And like yours, it lives on the iMac foot.
 
On top of my Mac Mini which I use as a server/test system. I have another somewhere in a drawer too. Can't actually remember the last time I used it. I have an Asus Blu Ray drive around too somewhere.

the problem with that ebay item is its 100% plastic. Original apple one is all aluminum. maybe some dont care but I dont want a piece of crap cheap plastic knock off.
