Apple vice presidents - wierd stock habits?

hi. i really am new to the whole stocks business.
i just was looking into buying some shares in apple

then i found the SEC filings page for apple, and i maybe completely wrong in which case do tell me, but i read this filing : click here from the 26/04/2007 which shows SERLET BERTRAND, a senior vice president selling up 10625 shares?! why on earth would he do this.

I also found this filing:

showing FADELL ANTHONY another senior vie president selling 10000 shares then buying 10000 shares on the same day?!

i must be interpreting these filings wrong yeh?

I dunno about the second one, but for the first one, people forget sometimes that stock isn't worth a darn thing unless you sell it. A smart investor will sometimes just lock in his profits based on stock he gets from the company and diversify elsewhere. Ask the people scrwed by enron how much it pays to have all your stock in one company if something goes wrong. This isn't necessarily any kind of red flag.
