I apologize for the length of this post, but I decided to put a lot of detail into this for ultimate understanding. I also hope that I am in the right forum. Anyways, here’s my predicament. I was looking forward to playing Dynasty Warriors 3 with a friend on my new (at least for me) PowerMac 8500/180. I pressed the key combo control-apple-a and to my surprise, the Apple Video Player, instead of starting up and showing the start-up process of the PS2, only showed a grey-screen. I quit the program and restarted the computer and still nothing. Well, to make a long story short, I reinstalled AVP many times, reinstalled Quicktime, checked the connections, etc. all to no avail. Naturally, this has really frustrated me as it was working fine a couple of hours before hand. I appeal to all of you knowledgeable Mac people out there to help me find a solution, be it another program, or a full system wipe, but I do not want it to get to that point if it is possible. Anyways, here are some specs for my computer, and if you need them, I will provide more.
