Apple has a distinct visual language and they usually only make images that have some sort of theme or meaning.

This does not look like typical Apple, as it is a photograph/rendering that seems irrelelvant

"Water Drop design" coincides with this image.

I'm assuming you are referring to the "tear drop" design that people are hoping for. If that's true, then where was a similar image for the redesigned Macbook Air?
 
seriously, where is this picture from?

It's from Gizmodo.. It doesn't look like an Apple image, because it IS NOT and apple image. It's just an image gizmodo uses for their headlines, taking the familiar ios4 water background, using obviously a different water background, and throwing in a 5.

They've been posting stuff with it for months.

Theres nothing to see here.
